Hillcrest applied a grand and creative vision to what was formerly a battery manufacturing facility. This run-down facility posed a unique challenge-having no windows, significant indoor and outdoor pollution, and a deteriorating structure. In addition, our client required custom electrical and highly specialized mechanical and communications systems. Hillcrest took special care to address health concerns, while increasing functionality and appeal. We were able to meet strict environmental codes, build critical infrastructure systems, and capture natural light via new windows and clearstory glass. This distinctive and custom operations control center now offers over 86,000 square feet of high-quality office space.
